Jim has been a commercial illustrator/graphic designer and fine arts painter
for more then 50 years. He loves working with watercolors, oils, ink and pencil.

Some years ago Jim developed a scratchboard style that has become his trademark.
His gallery/studio is located between Traverse City and Suttons Bay, just off M-22 on Fort Road.

The gallery is set back in the woods on 4 acres. The walls are covered with original paintings
and prints along with notecards of the area.

All the paintings are the work of Jim and his wife Manie.
